Hi Folks-

Just a quick heads up–there’s a lot going on in the next two weeks in Microsoft-land. This week is the developer-oriented Microsoft Build conference in San Francisco, where a lot of new announcements are expected. Following close on the heels of that, is the re-jiggered TechEd conference–now called Ignite – the IT Pro-oriented conference that now combines Windows, Exchange, SharePoint and Developer content into one “ginormous” show. That one is happening May 4-8 and I’ll be there flying the flag for Group Policy and SDM Software!

If you are planning to attend Ignite, I’m participating in two events where you’ll have the opportunity to stop by and say hi (and grill me on your worst Group Policy nightmares!). The first opportunity will be on Wednesday the 6th. I’m co-presenting a session on Group Policy and Windows 10 with fellow Group Policy MVP and friend Jeremy Moskowitz at 9am local time that day.

The second opportunity you’ll have for a more informal chat, is at the Pluralsight booth (booth #350), where I’ll be doing an author “meet and greet” to talk about and answer questions on my recent “Group Policy Fundamentals” training course. That will occur at 10am on Thursday, May 7th at the Pluralsight booth.

I hope that if you are at Ignite, you get a chance to attend or stop by one of these two events. I look forward to chatting about all things Group Policy!
