Just watching GPO video on plural sight and I come across folder redirection GPO where it automatically redirect the document and provide offline as well. I have got similar policy at work but it doesn’t offer offline unless I make them manually. Would you please advise where have I gone wrong? I use Server 2008 R2.
What version of Windows client are you using? In other, what platform is the user logging into? Are they logging into Server 2008-R2 via Remote Desktop? If so, it’s possible that offline files are turned off on Windows Server SKUs (with good reason, since you would end up getting a ton of data cached locally as users login). If your users are on actual Windows client machines, make sure you don’t have offline folders disabled (maybe via Group Policy).
