Tagged: GPO version mismatch

these alerts are discovered with GPO Health Reporter 1.9 when I analyze a single Windows Server 2012 as well as a single Server 2016 R2 DCs’ GPO processing. How can I true up the GPC/GPT versions?
“A difference in versions between the GPC and GPT could indicate an AD or SYSVOL replication problem on the DC that is being used by the client. If the GPT version shows as FFFF, that can *sometimes* indicate that the GPT could not be read, which could be a problem with SYSVOL replication on the DC, or a client side problem with reading the GPT.INI. Windows 7 and 2008-R2 machines will also report FFFF on the GPT–this is usually a spurious error and can be disregarded.”
It’s a test domain so only 4 DCs. Using this tool to learn about it’s usefulness in a production environment. Repadmin report is fine: for this Child domain but I do see repl issues for other parent domain DCs. But my GPOs with this issue are lreated only to the child domain (and there are only two GPOs :)) How do I resolve.
